Derek Flint

Derek is a a senior lecturer on the Police Degree Apprenticeship and Degree entry programmes. A published author, with his first book 'The Decision Paradigm published in 2021.

​Derek has 30 years in policing serving to the rank of inspector and has worked in several force areas.

​He is undertaking a professional doctorate, examining the development of constables as individual leaders.
